We also give the players mediocre coaches and bash them that they are not good enough, yet we see the same players put up the best and top performances across Europe each week. At the moment, we need to admit that we do not have an indigenous world-class coach. Out of the ten African nations qualified for the Mundial, we appear to be the weakest, yet we can boast of some of the top talents around the continent. You all saw how Kwesi Appiah, a local coach, failed to shield the players from the influence and threats of the FA officials in Brazil 2014. Meanwhile, a dejected Black Stars players were protected by Avram and took them all the way to a Nations Cup final. That's the difference. We need a coach who can make his own decisions, regardless of what the FA or Sport Ministry officials think. Guys remember that we not competing against the likes of Sudan, Comoros, Niger, etc We are talking about Spain, Argentina, England, Brazil, and the likes. Let us rise above mediocrity. Why would Brazil go for Carlo Ancelotti, or England, Thomas Tuchel? Because their own coaches could not cross the line when it mattered most. That's how we have to reason and move to the next level of the game, where we can capably compete at the pinnacle of the game. God bless Ghana! Happy Easter!
