Tamale City qualify for Division One Zone A play-offs

Tamale City FC are on the verge of a quick return to the Ghana Premier League after securing qualification for the Division One Zone A play-offs.

The Tamale-based side defeated Yapei United 2-1 on Sunday to confirm their place in the play-off.

Tamale City will face Debibi United, who are winners of Zone B.

The former Premier League side faced stern competition from city rivals Real Tamale United but sealed their spot having lost only twice in 26 matches.

Tamale City have amassed 54 points from 15 wins, 9 draws, and 2 defeats.

An official date and venue is yet to be announced for the blockbuster final.
