They are supposed to manage our National teams and the Coaches we hire, NOT GFA. Late Dr Kwame Nkrumah used Ohene Djan to manage our teams thru National Sports Council and we succeeded. GFA is a legal entity not under Govt that cannot be audited or control by the state, so why shd we handover such delicate assignments like hiring coaches into their hands? It's defeats the rules of Public Finance.

Well sometimes I don't blame the coaches. My take is that they don't have enough time with the players before tournaments. This new coach has only 2 months to assemble a team for the world cup. Besides, he will meet the players only twice in their friendly. How can a coach assess players just for 2 times and make proper decisions and pick out players? So this is waste of time and money.
