'I want to see fire against Man City at the Etihad' - Thierry Henry tells Arteta

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has urged head coach Mikel Arteta to summon the courage and secure a win against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on April 20, 2026.

The Gunners’ clash at the Etihad will be a huge determining factor in the Premier League title race, with Manchester City trailing by six points and having a game in hand.

Speaking ahead of the showdown on CBS Sports Golazo, Henry indicated that this season is Arsenal’s best chance to win the league after sitting at the top of the table for so long.

He believes that a victory will not only silence critics but also prove to the world that Arsenal are capable of winning despite their recent poor run.

“I do believe, I’ve been saying since the beginning of the season this year I do believe we can win the league. This is the biggest chance in your life to not only shut anyone down, but to prove to yourself as a team that we can.

"And then people will not talk about whatever word they want to use that I will not use. I do believe personally, but I’m sitting here on a chair working on CBS. There’s nothing I can do. Now I heard fire. I want to see that fire at the Etihad,” Henry said.
