Former Ghanaian footballer, Edwin Gyimah has appealed to the public to help him secure a job to sustain his livelihood.
He noted that he currently has no employment, which has made life difficult as he struggles to take care of his family and meet daily expenses.
The former Orlando Pirates player indicated that he is open to taking up any job, especially one that pays well and contributes to his growth.
Edwin Gyimah storms his house with police amid family takeover
Speaking in an interview with Auntie Naa on Oyerepa FM, Gyimah stated that institutions requiring his services in sporting activities to nurture young talents would be welcomed, as he is eager to pass on his knowledge and make an impact.
“Getting a place for my mother is now a responsibility I am dealing with. I am also pleading that right now my biggest request is to get a job. Whether in universities, senior high schools, or basic schools. Some of the children don’t know how to start their football careers, and I can really help with that considering my football experience. So I would want everyone to come on board and help,” Gyimah said in Twi.
This comes after Gyimah revealed that he had been living under difficult conditions in Ghana with his wife and children and, shockingly, had no place to call home after his sisters allegedly took over the eight-bedroom house he built.
Following these claims, an Oyerepa FM crew led by Auntie Naa, together with police officers, visited the house to assess the situation.
During the visit, his relatives, including his mother, sister, and others who had taken over the property, were seen kneeling and begging him to let the matter go.
After successfully resolving the matter, the media station’s crew managed to secure the house keys from the family members and handed them over to Gyimah.
