Hearts of Oaks won games and the GPL because of that Ningo Prampram guy at the PNDC who later became their MP, and his suppression of Kotoko. He reportedly told the good players that they would never be invited to play for the Black Stars unless they joined Hearts of Oaks, and that was one of the reasons Opoku Afriyie of all people joined Hearts of Oaks.
