With the Premier League title race hanging by the thinnest of margins, desperation among Arsenal supporters has taken a humorous turn and it’s now gone viral.

A video circulating online shows a group of Gunners fans spotting Pep Guardiola in public and making an unusual request: step aside and let Mikel Arteta finally win the league.

“Pep, let Arteta win the league. You’ve won enough!” the fans shouted, half in jest, half in genuine frustration.

The moment captures the tension of a title race that has swung dramatically in recent weeks. Arsenal, who once held a narrow lead, have seen their advantage slip after a dip in form, including a crucial defeat to Manchester City.

Now, heading into the final stretch of the season, the two sides are virtually inseparable. Both clubs sit level on 70 points, with identical goal differences, but City hold a slight edge having scored more goals.

Just days earlier, Arsenal had been leading the pack, but City’s relentless push, including a key win over Burnley, has flipped the momentum, putting Guardiola’s side in pole position with games in hand and experience on their side.

With only a handful of fixtures remaining, every match now feels like a final.

Arsenal must be near-perfect to keep pace, while City are seeking to reclaim their title.

A level of dominance that has left rival fans both in awe and, at times, pleading for mercy.
