Black Stars Team doctor Dr Prince Pambo
The Black Stars have shifted focus to recovery and preparation following their hard-fought draw against England at the FIFA World Cup.
Team doctor Dr Prince Pambo has provided an update on the squad's post-match routine, revealing that players who featured heavily in the encounter will be given time to recover rather than participate in full training sessions.
According to Dr Pambo, the technical and medical teams have put in place a structured recovery programme to help the players regain fitness ahead of their next assignment.
"Those who played a significant part of the game are not necessarily going to train. They'll just take a recovery session,"he explained.

The team doctor added that recovery activities will include gym work, treatment sessions, and other rehabilitation exercises aimed at ensuring the players remain in peak condition.
Meanwhile, players who did not feature or played limited minutes against England will undergo regular training to maintain their match fitness levels.
"Those who didn't play or didn't play significant minutes would have to train. After that, we'll still get them back here for treatment and also in the gym," Dr. Pambo stated.
