A video of the founder of Wordlight Revival Centre, Prophet Clement Testimony, predicting a poor campaign for the Black Stars at the ongoing 2026 FIFA World Cup has resurfaced after Ghana qualified for the knockout stages.

The video, shared by Metro TV on June 27, 2026, showed the prophet speaking on Good Afternoon Ghana about the Black Stars' chances at the tournament.

During the interview, Prophet Clement Testimony expressed confidence that the national team would fail to progress beyond the group stage.

"They [Black Stars] will not go anywhere. They will not go anywhere. If you say they will not go anywhere, you should know. They will not go anywhere,” he predicted.

He insisted that Ghana would not have a successful campaign, saying the team should play their three group matches and return home, while urging Ghanaians to wait until the end of the group stage.

"I've already told you, they are not going anywhere. Let them go and play their first game, second game, and third game, and come. It is well,” he continued.

Asked by the host if he was certain about his prophecy and that Ghana could qualify, the prophet insisted, “We are here, we will see. Nobody loves Ghana more than me in this nation.”

Prophet Testimony stated that some key things that should have been done were not done by the authorities, hence his conviction that the team would perform poorly.

“The things that were supposed to be done were not done, so from where I sit, I don’t see them doing well. I don’t see us going beyond the group stages. That’s it,” he added.

The prophet further suggested that the outcome would serve as a lesson.

"No, you see, sometimes God must show something so that people must learn the hard way. When they learn the hard way, next time they won't make such an error,” he concluded.

Ghana set for $13.5m World Cup money after reaching knockout stage

The prediction has resurfaced on social media after the Black Stars defied expectations by securing a place in the knockout stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Ghana opened their campaign with a 1-0 win over Panama, drew 0-0 with England in their second group game, and lost 2-1 to Croatia in their final group match. The results were enough to send them into the round of 32.

Following their progression, Ghana will now face Colombia in the round of 32, hoping to advance to the round of 16.
