The Black Stars have begun training sessions as they prepare to face Colombia in the Round of 32 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The match will take place at Kansas City Stadium in the United States on July 4, 2026, to determine who qualifies for the Round of 16.

The players were divided into two sides and played a light game to keep themselves in shape ahead of the crucial match.

Players such as Caleb Yirenkyi, Brandon Thomas-Asante, Abdul Mumin, Fatawu Issahaku, and others were all present for the session.

Head coach Carlos Queiroz and his technical team observed the training closely to inform their decisions on player selection and tactics.

The Black Stars enter the game determined to secure victory and qualification, having accumulated four points from three matches: a 1-0 win over Panama, a 1-1 draw against England, and a 2-1 loss to Croatia.

Meanwhile, Colombia come into the clash as a formidable side following their impressive group-stage performances.

They recorded dominant wins over DR Congo and Uzbekistan before drawing 0-0 with Portugal.

The game is expected to be keenly contested, with both sides eager to progress.

The winner will face either Switzerland or Algeria in the Round of 16 on July 7, 2026.
