Felix Afena-Gyan begins training with Iğdır FK after completing transfer

Ghanaian striker Felix Afena-Gyan has wasted no time settling into life at Turkish club Iğdır FK, taking part in his first training session following the completion of his permanent move from Cremonese.

The 23-year-old joined his new teammates as preparations continued for the 2026/27 season, beginning work under the club's technical staff after signing a two-year contract.

Sharing his excitement on social media, Afena-Gyan signalled his determination to hit the ground running.

"Down to work. No shortcuts. First sessions in the bank with Alagoz Holding Igdir FK. Pushing hard, building chemistry, and getting fully locked in for what's ahead. Step by step, we prepare!"

The former AS Roma forward arrives in Turkey after an impressive loan spell at Amedspor, where he registered five goals and six assists to help the club secure promotion.
