Barcelona have completed the permanent signing of Ghanaian forward Abdul Aziz Issah from Dreams FC after an encouraging period with the club’s reserve side, Barca Atlètic.

The 20-year-old has signed a two-year contract with an option for an additional season and will continue his development with Barca Atlètic as he aims to establish himself in the Barcelona system.

Aziz Issah initially joined Barcelona in 2024 on a season-long loan from Dreams FC, with the Spanish giants holding an option to make the move permanent.

The left-footed winger arrived after attracting attention with his performances in Ghana, particularly during Dreams FC’s historic run in the CAF Confederation Cup, where he finished among the competition’s top scorers.

His first season in Spain was largely about adaptation, with administrative issues delaying his early involvement. He later returned for another loan spell with Barca Atlètic, where he continued to adjust to European football and the club’s style of play.

The Ghanaian ended the previous campaign strongly, contributing two goals and one assist in his final five matches and convincing Barcelona to make the move permanent.

Known for his pace, dribbling ability and versatility across attacking positions, Aziz Issah becomes the latest Ghanaian talent to secure a place within Barcelona’s development structure.

The forward will now look to build on his progress and move closer to first-team consideration at one of the world’s biggest clubs.
