Crystal Palace Women midfielder Justine Vanhaevermaet has continued her pre-season preparations by training with her teammates despite being seven months pregnant.

The 34-year-old Belgium international was pictured taking part in sessions as the south London club stepped up preparations ahead of their return to the Women’s Super League (WSL).

Vanhaevermaet, who joined Crystal Palace last summer, is expecting her first child in September with her fiancé, physiotherapist Thomas De Jonghe.

Despite her pregnancy, the experienced midfielder has remained involved with the squad as they prepare for the new campaign.

In images shared by Crystal Palace on X, Vanhaevermaet was seen wearing training gear and participating in drills alongside her teammates, including showcasing her ball-juggling ability during the session.

“Seven months pregnant and still putting the work in,” the club wrote while sharing photos of the Belgian midfielder.

The moment attracted attention from football fans, with many praising her commitment and dedication to maintaining her fitness while preparing for motherhood.

Vanhaevermaet played an important role in Crystal Palace’s success last season, helping the club secure an immediate return to the WSL after promotion.
