Ghanaian winger Emmanuel Addai
Belgian top-flight outfit OH Leuven have added Ghanaian winger Emmanuel Addai to their ranks, signing the European starlet on a deal that will keep him at the club until 2028.
The 24-year-old Ghanaian departs Qarabağ as a free agent but will certainly not lack game time in the Belgian Pro League following his move to the Leuven region.
Addai spent two seasons with Qarabağ following his move from Ghana and really established himself with some superb form and an array of goals and assists in all competitions. His standout season came in 2025/26, with the winger appearing 47 times and scoring seven goals whilst providing assists for four of his teammates.

Champions League Experience Adds Extra Value
That level of form saw Qarabağ and Addai draw interest from across Europe, but the Belgian League side had already won the race to sign Addai. Addai's experience of playing against top-class opposition will no doubt help him excel in the Belgian Pro League, most notably his Champions League experience in which he played 10 games.
Addai's most memorable Champions League appearance was when he scored a goal against Premier League club Chelsea, as well as famous English clubs Liverpool and Newcastle United.
He found the back of the net against Danish club FC Copenhagen in a 2-0 win and will be sure to cause trouble for defenders in the Belgian League.
A Perfect Fit for OH Leuven
The winger will no doubt strengthen the Belgian side, who had this to say about their newest signing, "Welcome to OH Leuven, Emmanuel."
OH Leuven have signed quite the talent as Addai will look to shine on his European stage and showcase his talent to the world and create plenty of internet buzz and Ghana betting sites reviewed by Bettingtop10 Ghana.
Regarding his fit at the club, Addai is quick and direct on the ball and thrives when beating defenders one-on-one. He can play on either wing should his manager choose to deploy him that way or even through the middle supporting the striker. Addai will no doubt improve OH Leuven's attack as they look to climb the table in the Belgian Pro League.
Addai Joins List Of Africans Excelling In Europe's Top Leagues
Continuing his country's proud history, Addai further solidifies why African players, in particular Ghanaian wingers, are some of the best in the world. Players like Emmanuel Adebayor, Asamoah Gyan and current Bundesliga star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang paved the way for Ghanaian talents like Addai.
Should Addai find form in the Belgian League, he could also boost his chances of earning more call-ups for the Black Stars as Ghana prepare for more international football.
Eyes on an Exciting New Chapter
As Addai makes the move to Europe and joins OH Leuven, fans will be eager to see if he can replicate the form he showcased in Azerbaijan. He'll no doubt be hungry to prove that he can fit in at OH Leuven and join their ranks of attacking talents. Addai has the experience, confidence, and youth on his side as he begins his time with OH Leuven, whom he will call home for the next six years.
