Partey’s European journey began in 2013 after a move to Atletico Madrid. His displays in Spain eventually attracted Arsenal, who also sent him to the Premier League in 2020.

The Ghanaian spent five seasons in North London, making more than 100 appearances for the Gunners and becoming one of the important figures in their midfield.

Following his Arsenal departure, Partey returned to Spain with Villarreal before now opting for a new challenge in the rapidly growing Saudi Pro League.

At international level, Partey has been a prominent member of the Black Stars since making his senior debut in 2016. He has represented Ghana at several major competitions and was part of the squad that reached the knockout stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
