‘Don’t measure Kurt Okraku with Black Stars’ - Takyi Arhin

Aduana FC General Manager Takyi Arhin has stated that the performance of Ghana’s national teams should not be used as a yardstick to assess the leadership of Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku.

Speaking with Sporty FM, the GFA’s role concerning the national teams must be separated from the broader responsibilities of the association.

“I just don't see why people should use the National Teams or the Black Stars as a yardstick to measure heat or cooling,” Takyi Arhin said.

He added, “We have the GFA, so it's our task to decouple the work of the GFA from that of the National Teams.

“The GFA is just a custodian of the National Teams, and for that matter, all National Teams belong to the State.”

He stressed that the Black Stars and other national teams are state-owned teams and should therefore not be the sole basis for judging the GFA’s administration.
