FLASHBACK: Kwesi Nyantakyi joins Kennedy Agyapong’s campaign

On this day, October 18, a year ago, former Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kwesi Nyantakyi declared his support for Kennedy Agyapong’s campaign in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primaries.

Despite the support, Agyapong lost the party’s flagbearer contest to Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the former Vice-President, who secured a decisive victory.

Since then, Nyantakyi has largely stayed out of the political spotlight as he focuses on his private business and other ventures.
