Popular Ghanaian prophet Telvin Sowah Adjei has predicted that Ghanaian football will achieve historic success within the next six years despite the challenges facing the sport.
He acknowledged that the current state of football in the country was not encouraging, following questions about the poor performances of various teams.
However, the prophet stated that, based on what had been revealed to him in the spiritual realm, the fortunes of Ghanaian football would improve in the coming years.

Speaking in an interview with UTV, Prophet Telvin Sowah claimed that he was spiritually involved in guiding the direction of the sport and expressed optimism about the country’s prospects of making history in football.
“Our football will do well; from now until the next six years, we will make history. You can write it and paste it clearly right now. I am deeply involved in the operation and watching the moves. Nothing will bypass me. It will be like me, with people moving and guiding them. Otherwise, they will mess up the road before you return, then we will try to salvage things I can’t salvage,” he said in Twi.
There is mounting pressure on the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to address the poor performances of various teams, from clubs to the national sides, as they struggle to make an impact in international football.
GFA President Kurt Okraku has faced backlash, with some people calling for his resignation amid concerns over the state of Ghanaian football.
