Agartha’s father reveals details about her murder

The father of the late Fabulous Ladies footballer Agartha Takyiwaa has said his daughter was robbed in an incident that led to her death.

According to him, Agartha was operating a Pragya business, as earlier reports indicated, when she met her untimely death.

He disclosed that her body was found on the outskirts of the town, where the attackers had allegedly dumped it to avoid being spotted.

The father added that the attackers had stolen her belongings.

“We found her body on the outskirts of the town, like a new site. They took away her tricycle, mobile phone and money. We could not find anything on her, so it was robbery,” he said in a video shared by Gossip 24 on X.

He also confirmed reports that two suspects had been arrested by the police. The family, he said, was awaiting an invitation from the police to receive updates on the investigation.

“We called her phone, and it was with the Techiman Police. As we speak, the police have arrested two persons with her vehicle and are bringing them to Kumasi. We are waiting for the police to call us,” he said.
