Mon, 12 Sep 2011 Source: FootyGhana

Asante Kotoko coaching target Abubakari Yusif has been appointed by Medeama SC as the assistant to head coach Bashir Hayford.
The club’s new Chief Executive Officer, Desmond Frimpong Manso told footyghana.com that Yusif has signed a two year deal with the club.
Indeed, when footyghana.com spoke to Frimpong Manso earlier this afternoon at the offices of the Ghana Football Association in Accra, he was waiting for Yusif to arrive so that the deal can be finalized.Yusif has since put pen to paper and is now offically assistant to Hayford.
Yusif might also find himself in charge of newly promoted Wassaman United, which is owned by Armah’s brother Michael as the head coach if the club is not sold before the season starts.
The news will come as a massive blow to Asante Kotoko, who were very close to appointing him as the assistant to head coach Maxwell Konadu
