Hearts striker Otoo allays injury fears

Mahatma Otoo insists he will be fit to face Tema Youth despite finishing the game against Medeama with a heavily strapped ankle.

The 19-year-old scored the equaliser against Medeama and was very instrumental in getting the winner on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.


Hearts are running thin in the striking department due to the injury to influential Uriah Asante.


The club faithful looked on in apprehension as Otoo was taken off late in the game after picking the knock but he says he will be ready.

“I picked up a knock late in the game which has caused a little bit swelling on my ankle,” he told MTNFootball.com after the game.


“It is not that bad and I am sure I will fully recover during the week and will be ready to face Tema Youth.”
