Hearts of Oak striker, Emmanuel Osei Kuffour has announced plans to quit Hearts of Oak should his moves to play in the United States or Canada prove unsuccessful.

The player’s decision follows the refusal of the management of Hearts of Oak to accept transfer fees offered by some foreign clubs, which according to him has affected his chances of playing outside Ghana.

Emmanuel Osei Kuffour, who returned from China where he underwent a trial stint with Chinese club, was speaking in a television interview about his career.

He will be playing for Hearts’ rivals, Kumasi Asante Kotoko or Liberty Professionals in the coming soccer season, if he does not travel outside the country.

The Black Stars captain questioned the decision of club’s management not to accept transfer fees of $700,000 offered by United Arab Emirate club, Al Ain and charged them to prove if a player has ever been secured from the club at that amount.

The absence of Kuffour has dealt a serious blow to Hearts of Oak.
