A busy weekend awaits players of the women's U-17 side who would be involved in a two-game friendly assignment on Saturday and Sunday.

The Black Maidens, presently in camp preparing for next month's qualifying campaign for a place at the Fifa Women's U-17 World Cup would engage two local sides, Hasaacas Ladies and Ghatel Ladies.

The first test for the women's U-17 would be the game against the women's team of Division One side, Hasaacas, in Sekondi on Saturday before the following day's clash with Ghatel.

Both games would conclude their test game roster for the year before they line up against Ghana Post in Accra on January 5 and conclude with a game against Soccer Intellectuals in Winneba on January 14.

The Black Maidens would start the World Cup qualifiers in the 1st round when they travel away for the first leg match on the weekend of January 20-22, 2012 against Cameroon.

The return leg will be in Accra on February 5, 2012.

Ghana will be pushing for one the three slots available to the continent for the World Cup in Azerbaijan later in September 2012.
