Footy-Ghana is back!

Sun, 8 Jan 2012 Source: Christopher Opoku

One of Ghana's emerging football websites, www.footy-ghana.com has resumed operations after almost a month. The break was to enable the site's technicians work on damage caused by two incidents of hacking. The site now has a new domain name, www.footy-ghana.com, instead of the old one (www.footyghana.com). According to the site's editor-in chief, Christopher Opoku, the site will continue to highlight local football news in Ghana. 'Our aim is to promote local football news in Ghana because we believe that, apart from the fact that there is so much to talk about, it is also our contribution to making our local game more exciting with credible news stories.' Footy-ghana.com is currently in the last stage of testing and according to Opoku, the site will be officially launched after the current football season ends. 'We are in the last phase of testing so that we can add more features to the site and hopefully, we should officially launch the site at the end of the current football season.'
