The Greater Accra Volley Ball Association would on April 20 organise a volleyball match at the Lebanon house to raise funds for its annual programmes.
The match to be between the women volleyball teams of the Police Service and the Prisons Service is expected to be attended by representatives of corporate bodies and individuals who would contribute to the funds.
Mr Lawrence Sowah Adjei, vice chairman of the Association told the GNA
Sport at the Prison Headquarters that the match is being organised due to lack of sponsorship for the Association.
He said the annual gala would be played between April 26 to 27 adding that the league would follow a week later.
The Association is targeting an amount of 50.5 million cedis at the fund raising ceremony.
