There were Ghanaian interests in Thursday night's Uefa Europa League as a lot of Ghanaian stars were involved in action.

Striker Amponsah-Karikari as well as Ghana-target Karim Bellarabi were on target for AIK Stockholm and Bayer Leverkusen respectively.

Rapid Wien 0-4 Bayer Leverkusen

The Germans enjoyed a memorable night in Austria by thrashing Rapid Wien 4-0.

Though Leverksen were swashbuckling in general, it was the 22-year-old Karim Bellarabi who displayed a polished performance to steal the show.

He scored with a powerful volley in the 58th minute.

Panathinaikos 1-1 Lazio

Speedster Quincy Owusu-Abeyie came off the bench in the 68th minute to play part of Panathinaikos'1-1 home drawn game with Italian Serie A side Lazio.

Racing Genk 2-1 Sporting Lisbon
