Hearts midfielder Laryea Kingston has stoked fires in Sunday’s titanic clash against Kotoko by branding their opponent as ‘noisy rivals’.

The war-of-words have began ahead of the ‘Super Clash’ at the Baba Yara stadium on November 18 with both teams desperate for the maximum points.

The two teams go into the game with contrasting fortunes with Kotoko highly tipped to win the encounter in front of their home fans.

Hearts newly appointed trainer David Duncan has thrown a big gauntlet insisting he has enough arsenals to beat their arch-rivals in his first game in charge.

Kingston, who was sent off during the game last season, wants the volume turned down on their ‘noisy rivals’.

“It about the three points, I always say. It’s about pride because if we win the morale in camp will be massive,” Kingston told the club’s website

“ I will use this platform to urge all Phobians to join us on Sunday at the Baba Yara stadium as we silence these noisy Kotoko faithful once and for all.

“Maybe I was a fool not to have listened to the numerous advices before that match about a ploy to get me out of the game at the least provocation.

“I’m wiser now, in fact we all are and I believe that this time we are going to match them boot for boot in all departments.

“The team is very fired up for the match and I personally can’t see anything beyond victory on Sunday.

“I want to assure the fans that we are going to revenge last season’s painful defeat and continue with the smooth harmony that is growing in camp at the moment.

Michael Akuffo’s sublime strike from 35 yards in injury-time handed the Porcupine Warriors a 2-1 win over Hearts at the same venue last season.
