    Ajax's Kwame Quansah scored in his debut appearance yeseterday for the Ajax's Belgian satellite club Germinal Beerschot Antwerpen. He score the 3rd goal in the Jupiler League team's 3-0 win against Lommel. Anthony Obodai started and played for 83 minutes. GBA climb to 7th place behind leaders Club Brugge who won 4-0 against George Blay's KV Mechelen. Blay played the full game.

    Surprise leaders Nice showed their mettle with a 1-1 draw with Alex Nyarko's Paris Saint-Germain FC. The new boys went ahead when Brazilian Everson volleyed in a Kaba Diawara cross on the hour. But the home side levelled through Argentinian Martin Cardetti 13 minutes later. Nyarko was substituted in the 69 minute, with PSG down.

    Aidoo Undergoes Foot Operation
    Ghanaian international, Lawrence Aidoo of German Bundesliga side, Borussia Moenchengladbach would miss soccer action for some time as a result of a foot injury, which took him under the knife last Wednesday.

    The 20year-old attacker, had to be operated because of an inflammation in the foot. Aidoo missed Moenchengladbach’s away clash with Bochum on Saturday. He might also miss several days of training. The former Sekondi Hasaacas attacker however says he hopes to get an appointment with new Black Stars coach, Millan Zivadinovic for a date with Ghana’s senior national team.

    According to Aidoo, he believes the rebuilding programme by Millan Zivadinovic will present him the opportunity to book that date with Ghana’s Black Stars. The player who had fourteen appearances last season with two goals to his credit said he wants to tie a first team place in Borussia.

    What am I really trying to tell: If someone of you can do that just let your coach or federation or manager know that he can be usefull for the national team today made an interview with him, in which he said that he isn't sure either he will play for black stars ever in future
    I don't know ghanian soccer that well (since i'm a Nigeria|South Africa|Senegal fan) but i don't really think that you have many players with his talent and abilities. I tell he ROCKS He is mobile attacking halfback that can play on both wings or in center

    PS. here we have 2 other ghanians but Baba Adamu (Lokomotiv) hasn't yet adopted to our football and doesn't make in the first team and Osei Kuffuour (Anzhi) has just played one match so far
