Fitness conscious Ghanaians have

welcomed the “Accra Works out” initiative arranged by Primeval Consult in

partnership with the National Sports Council to be held at the Accra Sports

Stadium on Saturday July 27, 2013.

The event which will draw various

Keep Fit Clubs, Corporate bodies and individuals to the multi- purpose court at

the Stadium has been hailed as a splendid initiative and commended by most

fitness oriented Ghanaians.

Companies who attracted to sports

such as Hisense, Gidi Power, Jubilee

Sports, Henkoq Ventures, Lord J Alkaline Water and the Chartered Institute of

Marketing Ghana (CIMG) have agreed to be part of the programme which will be

organized every month at the Stadium.

Chief Larry, CEO of Primeval Consult

told yours truly at his office all plans and preparations have been made and

they are waiting for Saturday to work out and make people become healthier and

fitter.

He noted that the main targets of

the programme are corporate bodies whose personnel sit in the office for a long

time without and exercise.

“We want to help those who do not

train or exercise frequently to come out and feel the benefits of aerobics and

the advantages in visiting gyms to shape their bodies” he hinted.

Chief Larry, a specialist in events

organization and managing editor of the Sports Crusader newspaper said media

must work hard to sensitise people on their health and heads of corporate

institutions must also encourage their staff to attach seriousness to

exercising to maintain their sound minds in sound bodies.

He thanked the National Sports

Authority for supporting the programme as well as the sponsors who have seen

the laudable initiative that comes off every month.

According to him, there are many

gyms and fitness centers springing up in localities, but only a few of the

owners and instructors are well trained. He promised to support those who

operate gyms by coming up with a physical instructors course to be held at the

Media Center of the stadium very soon where the participants would be awarded

cerificates.

He appealed to companies who have

not been approached to come on board to make Ghanaians healthier and stronger.

He noted that the event will also

provide people from the corporate world the chance to interact and to access

the modern equipment of the stadium gym.

Interested corporates and

individuals who wish to participate in the work out initiative can contact

0243836429 to register for the monthly programme.
