Ghana striker Prince Tagoe has stated categorically that he has not called time on his international career as being reported in the local media.
The ex-Hearts of Oak attacker who has terminated his contract with Tunisia outfit Club Africain said the report is a figment of people’s imagination.
“I haven’t said anywhere that I have closed my doors on the Black Stars,” the ‘Prince of Goals’ told Accra-based Asempa FM. “What you heard is a lie, a fabrication just to tarnish my image and to end my international career.”
The former TSG Hoffenheim striker also claimed that he has a lot of offers on his table and his agent is sorting them out.
“Some clubs in Europe and Asia are chasing for my signature but we are yet to open talks with them. As at now I’m training on my own to maintain my fitness. I would soon sign for a club and play top flight football,” Tagoe added.
