I like how Appiah answer the question about picking two players. Yes, 11 good players is what it is going to take. Keep motivating the guys. GO GHANA!!!

AGAINST USA, I WILL START
KWARASAY
2.NKUM/BOYE
3.AFFUL
4.RABIU(THE USA PLAYS SIMILAR TO GERMANY. THEY WILL DRAW OUT THE RIGHT/LEFT BACKS AND HIT THRU 18. THEY WILL DELIVER AERIAL CROSSES IN THE 18, OR PUT THE BALL THRU THE MIDDLE FOR BRADLEY, DEMPSEY TO SHOOT. THIS IS WHY WE NEED RABIU TO FIGHT OFF AERIAL ASSAULT.
5. SUMAILA/MENSAH
(WE NEED OUR 4,5 TWIN TOWERS)
6. ACQUAH(TO FIGHT OFF BRADLEY/DEPSAY)
7. ADOMAH
8.BADU
9.GYAN
10.DEDE
11. KASA
IF WE CAN SWITH BETWEEN THE 433 TO START WITH AND THE 442. WE WILL GIVE THE USA A OT TO HANDDLE.

For USA, it is going to be either 6-1, or 4-0...a repetition of either Egypt or South Korea. You wanna bet?

Haven watched all the countries in Group G preparation towards the World Cup I can now draw conclusions to the challenges Ghana face in the group. Whiles I wish to see Ghana proceed to the round of 16, I'm a realist and would not fool myself with the illusion of thinking that Ghana are good enough to beat both Germany and Portugal. I'm even doubtful that Ghana can beat USA this time around and it's not because of the lack of good players we have but style of play and the formation the Ghana Black Stars have adopted under the coach.
Ghana is well known for our strong midfield but it seems our midfield lacks creativity in the style Ghana is playing with K. ASAMOAH being opted to the left back position. No one to make penetrating passes for our strikers to have a chance of scoring. Furthermore, there is no steadiness in our midfield which will put pressure on our weak defense. Without Essien in midfield we will look weak against Portugal and Germany. I saw Ireland have a beat down by Portugal 5-1 yesterday and I must say that it was very impressive. I smell an early exit for the Ghana Black Stars and the coach being fired after that.

You smell an early exit for Ghana, I smell fear and football ignorance in your post. Ireland did not qualify for the WC and there is a good reason why. They are simply not good enough, Portugal beating them 5-1 is almost meaningless. You think Ghana is not good enough to beat Germany or Portugal, well, I dont think Germany or Portugal are good enough to beat Ghana either. The funniest part of your post is that you dont even think Ghana can beat the USA, right, so what premise is your conclusion based on then? Well, we will see, wont we?

Ghana has always been good tactically with the ball and we play possession football but it's not existence under this coach. If you think Ghana will beat the three teams in group G then you're living in a fantasy world. I won't call that ignorance but a plain lack of football knowledge. If you're happy with the style and formation Ghana is playing and think that we will defeat both Germany and Portugal then more power to you. Did Ghana beat Germany in 2010 World Cup? Have we beaten any Europen team after 2010 World Cup? I'm also a Santaclausian but a realist on who smells an early exit for Ghana.

Only small minded individuals will see differences in opinions as unpatriotic. I am enthusiastically supportive of the Black Stars but I don't see them making it to the round of 16.

I posting this message to wish our Black Stars and Coaches K. Appiah, Maxwell Konadu, Didi Dramani and Stephen Appiah for their efforts. Our team play has improved; however there is still a lot to be done esp., our creative ability to score goals as well as our passes. The cohesion seem to be building up but I very pass should be an intelligent pass. Let's try to master on constructing defense-splitting moves mixed with back heel and side foot passes. Getting these witty tactics well rehearsed will be to our greatest advantage. Greetings to all, Dede and Essien, my idols. If Andre and Kwadjo Asamoah could hold on the ball a little and control the ball when necessary the world ain't seen nothing yet. Meanwhile play according to Coach Kwasi Appiah's instructions. Play with confidence. Our brand of football will be known to the whole world soon. Stay blessed our only pride.
