Christian Atsu salutes Fun Club in Kumasi

Ghana winger Christian Atsu was thrilled to find out he has huge followers in Kumasi ahead of their opening 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Uganda on Saturday.

The Everton loanee now has a Fun Club and members were at the Kumasi Airport to welcome him to the city.


This move speaks volumes of his influence in the Black Stars since joining in 2012.

Atsu expressed his gratitude and posted on Twitter: “Received this picture last night, Thanks for your support guys it means a lot! #Ghana #Ilovemypeople #Godisthereason


He was impressive for Ghana at the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals.
