An Olympic Africa Complex Stadium is to be sited at North Pokuase, near Amasaman, in the Ga District of the Greater Accra Region, Mr Samuel Nii Aryeetey Attoh, the District Chief Executive, has disclosed.

Speaking to the GNA Sports after the First Ordinary Meeting of the Assembly at Amasaman on Thursday, Mr Attoh said an amount of 300,000 dollars has been earmarked for the commencement of the first phase of the project.

He said the project, to be completed within one year, will be jointly funded by the Ghana Olympic Committee and the International Olympic Committee.

Mr Attoh said the District Assembly will provide consultancy services on the project as well as supervise it.
