This years National Middle would kick off at three centres across the country on Saturday 12 April. It would be a six-club all-play-all league, which would determine the two clubs to participate in this year's national premier league; while the third placed team would meet Power FC in a play-off. The centres would be would be in Kumasi, Koforidua, Cape Coast and the Accra Sports Stadium.
Clubs which have qualified for participation in the league are, Kpando Hearts of Lions, Smartex, Stay Cool Professionals, Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs, Yeji Stars and Brokyempem.
According to the pairings for the opening matches, Brokyempem would take on Samartex at the Kumasi Sports Stadium, while Yeji Stars would sort things out with Dwarfs at the Koforidua Sports Stadium with Stay Cool Professionals taking another show down with Hearts of Lions at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
The next matches would be played on Wednesday, April 16, at three of the league centres. The middle league is however expected to end April 26.
