Liberty Professionals defender Alfred Nelson says he will try and make a mark in the local Black Stars colours to get a call up to the Black Stars.
Avram Grant stated clearly some weeks ago he will invite players who will impress at the CHAN tournament to the Black Stars proper and the Liberty professional’s captain believes his call up to the local Black Stars is a great opportunity for him to exhibit his real qualities.
“I was part of the CHAN team that won bronze in South Africa, but I did not feature in any of the matches; I am sure if I train hard this time I will be an instant starter for the team," he told Sportscrusader.com
“I heard about Avram Grants comment, every player dreams of playing for his national team and I think this is the right time for me to showcase I am ready for the Black Stars".
Coach Maxwell Konadu’s side has been invited as guests to participate in the 2015 COSAFA tournament which will be held in South Africa next month and Alfred is part of the twenty-nine players who have been invited to join Ghana’s local Black Stars camp at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.
