Banahene unaware of Qatari interest

Ghanaian striker Emmanuel Osei Banahene says he is unaware of any offer made by an unnamed club in the Gulf.

Reports are rife that an unnamed Qatari side has tabled a $3m offer to Ismaily to sign the prolific striker.

Banahene has hit top form since joining the Egyptian club.

His impressive exploit appears to be interesting clubs especially in the Gulf. But the 26-year-old insists he has not been made aware of any offer for his services.

“Nothing has been confirmed yet,” the Ghanaian striker told Sportscrusader.com. “I have also been reading same but nothing yet.”
