Andre Dede Ayew
Andre Ayew has been nominated for Swansea’s Player of the Month Award for August.
The Ghana international has enjoyed an incredible season so far, scoring 3 league goals out of four games.
His main rivals for the award are winger Jefferson Montero and striker Bafetimbi Gomis, who has scored four times in the league this season.
Ayew moved to Wales on a free transfer from Marseille and has already notched vital goals in the draw against Chelsea on opening day and the win over Newcastle the week after.
He scored a pint point header against Manchester United last Sunday, and deservedly won plaudits for his performance, least of all his stunning outside-of-the-foot pass that handed Gomis his game-winning opportunity to leave Swansea in fourth spot and yet to taste defeat going into the international break.
