Amartey looks ahead after Comoros win

Ghana defender Daniel Amartey is already looking ahead to the next round of qualifiers which resumes next year following the 2-0 win over Comoros on Tuesday.

The 20-year-old played a part as the Black Stars progressed to the final phase of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers with the win over the Islanders having come on as a first-half substitute for Jonathan Mensah, who had picked up an injury.

Ghana will not be playing any more games until March 2016 when the qualifiers for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations resume where the Black Stars will be hosting Mozambique.

Amartey who plays his club football for Danish club FC Copenhagen is already looking forward to this game.

"Great win over Comoros island, looking forward to the next games next year," he posted on social media.

Amartey joined the likes of Agyemang-Badu, Mubarak Wakaso and Harrison Afful to leave Accra on Wednesday evening to rejoin their respective clubs.
