Daniel Opare expected to return for Augsburg in Schalke clash

Ghana defender Daniel Opare is expected to return to Augsburg's team for their clash with Schalke 04 in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

The 25-year-old right-back missed Augsburg's 0-0 stalemate with FC Cologne last weekend due to injury.

But he is likely to be in the Augsburg squad for their trip to Gelsenkirchen to play the Royal Blues.

Augsburg manager Markus Weinzierl confirmed the former Real Madrid Castilla defender ruptured cyst in his knee while training last Thursday but Augsburg medical team are working around the clock to get the defender fit for their game.

Opare has completed three (3) Bundesliga games for Augsburg this season.
