Manager of former Asante Kotoko controversial striker Ahmed Toure begged Hearts for a second chance for his client after failing to land a deal outside Ghana, Ghanasoccernet.com can reveal.

Toure swerved the Phobians for the Porcupine Warriors at the beginning of last season after spending some time with the Rainbow family.

He left the Porcupine Warriors for deals in Bahrain, Belgium and Saudi Arabia with some few months left on his contract.

Following his failure to land a deal, the player's manager called board member of the league leaders Alhaji Braimah Akambi to beg for a second chance for the player.

"Yes Toure and his manager called me severally from their base in South Africa to beg for the player's comeback," Alhaji Akambi said.

"The manager said the player was ready to publicly apologise to the fans for last season's snub but the hierarchy of the club was not interest," he added.

The player is however ready to play for any club in Ghana that is interested in his services.

Should Toure land a deal in Ghana, it will be his third playing time in the country.
