He explained that he tendered in a 3-month leave request to management of the club on Monday, partly to help save his dear life, which is in danger.

Coach Bash said an angry fan of the club recently warned to curse him (Bash) with a river deity over Ashgold’s abysmal showing in the league, so far.

According to him, if he doesn’t take care he might end up being physically attacked or possibly killed by an angry supporter of Ashgold.

Coach Bash told Bright Kankam Boadu of Nhyira FM that he had therefore asked for three months leave to help save his life.

He said he wanted to stay aside for now, hoping that his decision to leave would help Ashgold to bounce back strong in the league.

According to him, some supporters of the club see him as bad omen for the club so he wants to stay away to help save the club from troubles.

Coach Bash said he is ready to accept any decision that the Ashgold management would take on him after his three months leave.

The beleaguered coach concluded the chat on a weird note as he cursed his enemies, even though he did not mention names.

He said those who wish for his destruction would meet destruction awaiting them on the gateway to their own success.
