Ghana striker Emmanuel Banahene continued his inspiring form in the Egyptian Premier League after scoring in Ismaily’s 3-2 defeat to Misr Lel Makasa on Friday.

The 25-year-old found the back of the net for the visitors with a breathtaking strike in the 38th minute after Hussein El Shahat had cancelled Shawki Al Saied’s early strike for Ismaily.

Fellow Ghanaian and former Berekum Arsenal attacker Nana Poku scored a brace for the home team in the 78th and 87th minute to help Misr Lel Makasa secure a victory at the Fayoum Stadium.

Banahene enjoyed the full 90 minutes for his side.

The Ghanaian international has now scored six goals for Ismaily from injury. Teammate Torric Jabril was also in action for the Mango boys.
