Experienced centre back, Evans Quao
Experienced centre back, Evans Quao has told Asantekotokosc.com that, patience is what has presented him with the current situation where he has been partnering Ahmed Adams in the middle of defence. He said he has been enjoying the partnership and that, nothing would stop him from giving his best anytime he’s selected for a game.
Quao has been a fantastic replacement since the Hearts game in Accra where he started because regular rearguard, Richard Osei Agyeman is on the injury list. Speaking to Asantekotokosc.com after Kotoko beat Bechem United 1-0 away, Quao pointed out that he has patiently been looking forward to this time.
“I have to thank God. With patience you can do everything” said the strong defender. “I got the opportunity in the Hearts match. It wasn’t my time and that’s why I wasn’t playing. I’m happy to be playing and doing what’s expected of me. I would want to do more than I’m doing now when given the chance anytime, anywhere” said Quao who argued that they would have to eschew complacency to win subsequent matches.
