Partey trains with Black Stars for the first time

Ghanaian midfield sensation Thomas Partey trained with the Black Stars for the first time on Tuesday after playing in the UEFA Champions League final last week.

The 22-year-old midfielder arrived in Ghana on Monday night after he was given two days off.

Partay has enjoyed a breakthrough season with Atletico Madrid after he impressed on loan at Almeria last season.

The former Tema Youth player was given the last seven minutes of their 5-4 penalty defeat to Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League.

The midfielder is making his first appearance in the national team and will be desperate replicate his club form when given the opportunity to play against Mauritius.
