Injured Ghanaian youngster, Moses Odjer , is set for a four-week spell on the treatment room after limping off the pitch in a 1-1 drawn game at Latina. The Salernitana dribbling wizard was stretchered off the pitch with an injury ravaged game away to Salernitana.

The Ghanaian import enjoyed a stellar start to the match day 15 tie away to their rivals, Latina, only to be carried off the pitch by the medics four minutes into the second department of the game.

The Italy-based Ghana Youth international, who has been an ever-present figure for the struggling Serie B side, will, however, miss the next six fixtures for his side. The former Black Satellites skipper has been slapped with a one month spell on the treatment table by the team’s medical department earlier on Sunday.

He will therefore miss the crunch clash with Bari 1908 to add to deciding ties against Pro Vercelli, Frosinone, Carpi, and Avellino. Moses could, however, return in time to take on Perugia on the eve of new year. Speaking on his possible return after the injury setback, Odjer was confident of coming back stronger.

“Injuries are part of the game, and as a footballer, you have to develop a strong mind to contain them.

“I will miss a number of games but will surely come back stronger. Followers of Moses Odjer should pray for me to come back stronger than I left the scene," Odjer said.

Odjier has since played all 15 games for Salernitana with no goal to his name in the second tier of Italian football. Salernitana currently occupies the 15th slot in the division with just 3 wins from 15 matches.
