Asante Kotoko striker Obed Owusu has urged his teammates to continue their great form in the Ghana Premier League in his absence.
The former Berekum Chelsea poacher is on the treatment table following an injury he suffered in the club’s 2-1 win over Liberty Professionals on Match Day One of the Ghana Premier League.
In his absence, the club have accumulated thirteen points from five games, winning three and drawing one in the process.
“I commend my colleagues for their good work. I was particularly happy with the win over AshantiGold,” he told the club’s official mouthpiece.
“We must see a similar effort in the matches left,” Obed said.
He is expected to miss out when the club engage league debutantes Bolga All Stars in week five of the league at the Utrecht FC Park on Sunday.
