Enchi (W/R) Feb.15, GNA - Second Division campaigners, Enchi Soccer Wise Professionals on Saturday spanked Wassa-Akropong Gye Nyame Saah by four goals to nil in a friendly encounter at Enchi.
Professionals, who played a determined game, scored two goals in each half to maintain their superiority over Gye Nyame Saah.
Goal poacher, Sammy Bokyi scored the opening goal in the seventh minute while Samuel Afram made it two in the 15th minute through a penalty when he was fouled in the vital area.
Kwame Koffa mid-fielder made it three during a goalmouth melee soon after recess.
Afram through a solo effort found the net again in the 90th minute to seal the doom of the visitors.
Mr. Ahmmed Hassan, Professionals coach told the GNA Sports after the encounter that the match was to prepare the Wise Professionals team against its archrivals, Enchi Manchester United, another second division campaigners in a crucial soccer match towards their qualification for the middle league.
Mr. Kafui Harry, public relations officer for Professionals said that the management was leaving no stone unturned to ensure victory for the team and called for assistance from supporters and sympathizers. 15 Feb. 04
