Nana Akufo Addo shows his special boxing award to the spectators
World Boxing Council (WBC) has awarded His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo the President of Ghana with a special belt for his involvement in sports.
The presentation was done on Saturday night by WBC vice President Houcine Houichi during the ‘Freedom Fight Night’ held at the Bukom Boxing Arena.
The night was also graced by the ex-President Jerry John Rawlings, Zenator Rawlings who is the MP for Korle Klottey as well as the Minister of Youth and Sports Isaac Asiamah .

The Sports Minister Isaac Asiamah and the vice President of WBC Houcine Houichi with the champion Duke Micah
Micah also took the opportunity to present the award to Jerry John Rawlings
It was an honour for Richard Commey when ex-President Rawlings held up his hand to announce his victory
