Former Asante Kotoko coach Karim Zito has launched a scathing attack on Zdravko Lugarusic over the club’s lack of quality strikers comments.
The 55-year-old trainer declared during a press briefing on Thursday that, he travelled to his native country, Croatia to scout for quality players to augment the squad in thier premier league titli hunt..
However, Zito ridiculed that opinion when interviewed on Accra-based Happy FM,”He should shut up and do his work with the materials at his disposal. He should rather change the system he is using and deploy maybe 4-4-2 formation or another offensive tactics, which could suit the boys.”
“If he heeds to this advise, the boys will come good in games but It should not be the case where only your striker scores in matches. There are various tactics I believe will be flexible for the players.”
“Last season against New Edubiase, it was the goalkeeper who scored the first goal for us, does that also count on tactics. He should just keep mute and tweak with his rigid system and everything will fall into the right place."
The club will host Inter Allies in week 9 of the ongoing league on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
