GHANASoccernet.com understands that the new Ghana coach will not be fired if he fails to secure qualification to the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
The Ghana Football Association has started the search for Avram Grant's replacement after conducting an interviewing session for three coaches- Willy Sagnol, Kwesi Appiah and Hugo Broos.
Ghana are in a tight corner in Group E of the qualifiers; lying third between Egypt and Uganda with one point from two matches.
The next trainer faces a herculean task to swiftly improve the fortunes of the team and try to reach Russia for the mundial.
But failure to do won't require the axe from the appointing authorities.
